The ILA Expert Group was established in 2025 and currently consists of 15 members from across the globe. The group brings together highly dedicated professionals with a wide range of specialised expertise and fields of interest related to lipoedema.

The purpose of the Expert Group is to play a key role in supporting the work of the International Lipoedema Association by providing specialist input on clinical, educational, and research-related matters. Through their insights and guidance, the group helps ensure that ILA’s activities and outputs are grounded in the highest standards of knowledge, relevance, and quality.

The collective expertise of the ILA Expert Group strengthens the scientific and professional foundation of the association and contributes to maintaining a consistently high standard across all ILA initiatives.
