Report of the ILA Diagnosis Working Group (2022)
This report presents the International Lipoedema Association’s expert recommendations for the clinical diagnosis of lipoedema. Developed by a multidisciplinary working group using evidence reviews, existing guidelines, and clinical expertise, it proposes a simplified diagnostic scheme based on key clinical criteria while highlighting important areas for future research. The report aims to support a more consistent and internationally accepted approach to diagnosing lipoedema.
